Thank You Portland!

Art Hop was a huge success this year! Thanks to all of you who made it out. There were so many amazing things going on that day, my only regret is not being able to have seen everything.

Here is Mayor Sam Adams adding some love to one of our Mural Projects.

Check out Just Seeds, these guys were selling some beautiful and thought provoking prints.

Anderson DuBoise III is a young poet that read from his book I Am Written. All proceeds from the sale of his book will go to fund his college education. You can see more of his poetry on his blog http://www.andersonduboise.blogspot.com/

For those of you who didn't make it to Art Hop, or don't live in Portland, check out Art in Hand, The Portland Project. It is a project created to showcase various Portland artists and their work in the form of beautiful playing cards. I worked at the Grow Gallery during Art Hop, where the original art work for the deck was being shown. There will be an online auction of the original works going on until May 22nd. Start the bidding!

Art on Alberta set up this sneak peek trailer across the street from the gallery. Shown here is Dave Riveness, the curator of Art in Hand's Portland Project.

You can see see more photos of the event on Flickr. Thanks again!

Yes, I designed the poster. Thanks! We wanted it to be bright, playful and summery. I think it was a success.
